Drawing from its internal resources and those available through its private and institutional relationships, the Firm provides direct access to a substantial base of equity, debt, and mezzanine capital for structured and leveraged transactions.
MIP's investment relationships include leading financial institutions, private equity firms and hedge funds, money management firms, pension funds, insurance companies, and accredited individual investors. Commonly employed financial instruments include:
Manhattan Investment Partners may provide one or more levels of principal capital required for transactions it originates, or partner with lead investors for transactions it originates or that are originated elsewhere. Once we invest, we strive to add further value through representation on the company's Board of Directors, where we will actively assist in strategic growth, financing, and the develoment of new business opportunities.
MIP normally targets middle market transactions valued from $25 million to $500 million that require a total equity-style investment of $5 million to $100 million. The Firm maintains a multi-industry focus, and will also consider under-performing companies and emerging enterprises. However, we consistently seek situations where a strong management team is in place, the underlying business economics are sound, and the prospects for growth are attractive.
